La Manga del Mar Menor is idyllically situated right by the Mediterranean Sea in the southeast of Spain, in the region of Murcia. Here you will find one of the sunniest areas of Europe, with 320 sunny days a year. It is one of the most sought after Mediterranean areas. A paradise between two seas, it has immense treasures to offer to all. Apart from water sports and boating, bars, restaurants and an active nightlife, several golf courses are to be found in the area. The beaches stretch along the coastline on both sides of La Manga. For those who feel like relaxing on the beach, it is easy to find a pleasant spot on the soft sand. Or you can stroll along the beautiful and green promenades and enjoy the sun twinkling on the sea. If you need a break, you can sit at one of the many bars or restaurants along the promenade and enjoy a drink.

The Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt water lagoon, is famous for its black mud which is said to bring relief from many ailments from arthritis to eczema. There are also many health spas and thermal baths in the Province of Murcia.
